Alan started his career in the firework industry after his interest was sparked during his role as Production Manager for the Royal Fireworks in Hyde Park, a massive wedding eve spectacular for Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.
From there Alan learned the ropes with Pains Fireworks Ltd and started working on displays throughout the country. Twenty five years later Alan is as hands-on as ever, regularly acting as the Senior Operator on displays, and he carries out many of the company’s site safety inspections.

Adam has worked in the firework industry for almost twenty years during which time he has worked for leading firework companies Syd Howard Fireworks, Australia and UK based Pains Fireworks and has been leading the Display Firework operation of Alan Hillary Events Ltd for over 15 years.

Her understanding of our customers’ needs makes her the perfect person to look after Sales & Marketing for the company.
Joanne Waugh
Sales Support
The newest member of the Reaction team, Joanne looks after administration; from taking bookings and managing the events calendar to sending invoices.
The Team
Support is provided through a flexible and skilled team of professional operators, many of whom have been with the company from day one. All of our operators are registered members of the British Pyrotechnists Association. Reaction Fireworks operators are fully committed to the company's in-house training scheme. Above all else our team members are knowledgeable, friendly and a valuable company asset.
