Reaction Fireworks is delighted to have won the Scottish heats of the British Firework Championships 2010.
Reaction Fireworks fired the winning performance from a platform in the middle of Strathclyde Country Park, a 200 acre loch, on one of the coldest days of the year. The team designed and delivered a flawless 10 minute performance which prompted a rousing response from the thousands gathered to watch three firework companies compete in the Scottish heats.
The next round of the competition will take place in Plymouth on 11th and 12th August where Reaction will take on the winners from the other heats in a bid to become British Firework Champions 2010. And as former winners of the title in 2004, the team are well placed to bring the trophy back to the North East for a second time.
Managing Director, Alan Hillary said “We are delighted to have won the Scottish heats particularly in view of the challenging conditions. Firing an award-winning display from the centre of a lake takes a great deal of experience and skill – fortunately we have gained that experience over many years and were able to demonstrate it tonight”.
