When Cunard announced that their flagship Queen Mary II was to make an historic call at Greenock as part of a special British Isles voyage marking the fifth anniversary of her introduction in January 2004, organisers contacted Reaction Fireworks to request a repeat performance of the stunning fireworks display delivered for the final visit of the QE2.

Clydeport Ltd, Scotland’s premier west coast port operator appointed the Reaction team to design and deliver a first-class display befitting the importance of the occasion.
Commenting after the performance, Andrew Hempill, Operations Manager of Clydeport Ltd said “What a show…this was certainly the best send off that anyone can remember for a cruise ship at Greenock, but the fact it was the QM2 made it all that much better”
Reaction Fireworks has earned an excellent reputation in Scotland and works with many Scottish local authorities to deliver major displays including those for major events including Tall Ships Races as well as annual November 5th displays.
On Sunday 29th November 2009, Reaction Fireworks won the Scottish heats for the British Firework Championships 2010 and will compete with the other heat winners in Plymouth in August next year.
