Following a multi-million pound restoration programme, South Tyneside Council appointed Reaction Fireworks to design and present a firework and light show to mark the official re-opening of South Marine Park.
Carefully designed lighting schemes were installed to highlight the parks key features. The restored terrace formed the focal point for the presentation of the show and was illuminated on three levels creating a cascade of vivid colour. Lighting effects spilled onto the surrounding trees and other features including newly commissioned pieces of art.
The overall result was to bring to the park to life using vivid colour and a dramatic firework display, choreographed to music, created a visual spectacle to be enjoyed and remembered.
