Reaction’s Royal Performance
We were delighted to present a musical firework spectacular at the official opening of the Barony A Frame in Auckinleck, Ayrshire attended by HRH Prince Charles.
The vast steel structure which looks like a giant letter A (hence the term ‘A Frame’), was originally part of the winding gear over a mine shaft at the Barony Colliery and is the last remaining example of its type in Britain.
This prestigious occasion was a celebration of the Barony A Frame Trusts accomplishments in restoring and preserving the structure for the future, however was reflective of the colliery’s history, most notably as the site where four men lost their lives in November 1962.
HRH Prince Charles unveiled a plaque in the centre of the monument.
Reaction delivered an eight minute display choreographed to classical music as a moving conclusion to the night’s proceedings.
